The Asean Culture House with the cooperation of Korea Foundation hosted The ACH Invitation Program for Members of the Asean Fan Club of Hallyu (Korean Wave) last October 13 to 18, 2017.
36 delegates from ten different countries around Asia were invited to join the said program.
The delegates were converged in Seoul and Busan for five days.
South Korea hosted the program to unify and promote friendships among Asian countries.
They also aimed to showcase Korea’s culture and society.
This involved bringing the delegates to different locations around Seoul and Busan.
The first meeting of the delegates kicked off at the Welcoming Luncheon hosted by the Korean Foundation.
Then they visited SBS, a national South Korean television and radio network company. Next was Korea Foundation’s office where the orientation took place.
They finished the day by visiting N Seoul Tower.
The delegates visited the Gyeongbokgung Palace, which was the first royal palace built by the Joseon Dynasty. They also toured around Bukchon Hanok Village, MBC World, and Gwangjang Market.
The delegates experienced riding KTX, South Korea’s high-speed rail system, going to Busan.
The delegates finally had the chance to visit ASEAN Culture house in Busan. They also toured around Dongbaekseon Island, Gamcheon Culture Village, and Busan Tower.
After having their final meeting and showing their presentation in ASEAN Culture House, the delegates toured around Sodong Beach before going back to Seoul.
The five days program made us experience a lot of things about South Korea. It also gave us the opportunity to have friends from the other countries.
We would like to thank The Asean Culture House and Korea Foundation for giving us this opportunity.
Here are some of the pictures we had during the program.
Thank you again to The Asean House and Korea Foundation.
Team Philippines will always miss the experience we had in South Korea. We will never forget everyone that we had met.
