When your parcel begins with EG, it means it is an EMS tracking number.
EMS takes around three to five days. It will be delivered to your house twice once missed. But on the third delivery date and you missed it again, it will be sent in the window delivery unit. Once it is in there, you have to pick it up.
It happened to me last week. The postman delivered my parcel twice and I wasn’t there to received it. They left a notice that says I have to pick my parcel in the window delivery unit.
If you are living in Manila and nearby, the EMS Philippine Post Office is located in Pasay City. The exact address is CMEC PhilPost Domestic Airport Road, 1300 Pasay City. To get there, ride the MRT to Baclaran/Rotonda Station, ride a jeepney eastward with signboard Pinagbarilan/Tramo. They make a U-turn at Philpost Pasay.
Or you can call them at 028544621, 02854-52-57 or 028543580
Once you are in Philpost, go to EMS window delivery unit:
Give your government or any valid ID and Php100 for the service charge. The service charge were Php50 before but since last August, they change it to Php100. Remember that your parcel might get taxes depending on the weight and the items inside.
I hope this post help you in your journey to PhilPost EMS office 🙂
Good luck guys!
